---  About Me ---

Randy's Headshot2.jpg

Wood working, for me, has been a lifelong passion. I turned my first bowl at  the age of 16 in a high school woodshop class. I still have that bowl after more than 40+ years.
Since then, there have been hundreds of projects. Cabinets, furniture, toys and more have been produced in a small single car garage. The majority of our home furniture has come out this little workshop. Even our front door was made here.
As you may be able to tell from my gallery, one of my favorite woods to work with is African Sapele. My other favorites are Maple, Walnut and Red Oak.

My goal is to create unique items that are both visually appealing and functional. The perfect example of this philosophy are my travel mugs. I have used one everyday, since I made the first one, nearly four years ago. Coasters, serving plates and bowls are becoming embraced household items also.
